Financial Assistance

Financial Assistance-Affording an Education at Peaceful Children Montessori

Peaceful Children Montessori is dedicated to maintaining a student body that is economically and culturally diverse. Diocesan tuition
assistance is awarded according to demonstrated family need. Any student interested in attending Peaceful Children Montessori can be considered for tuition assistance programs.

Diocesan Need-based Tuition Assistance

Need-based tuition is currently offered through the Diocese of Cleveland (DTA-Diocesan Tuition Award), Divine Word Church, and local parishes to families who demonstrate financial need. Families should not hesitate in applying for assistance.  All information is confidential and is used only to determine which families have demonstrated need.  Families must fill out a Private School Aid Service (PSAS) application annually to be considered for assistance. PSAS, an independent organization, analyzes a family’s ability to pay tuition. The analysis is then sent to the Chapel of Divine Word, or your local parish where the amount of assistance a family needs is determined based on family need and available resources. All families who are parishioners of Chapel of Divine Word in Kirtland are automatically given a $200 tuition credit which is reflected in the current tuition schedule (additional $200 non-parishioner fee if not a member of Divine Word).

Obtain a PSAS application from Divine Word (if a parishioner), the PCM office or your parish. Please note: the school code for Peaceful Children Montessori is 1826. The Chapel of Divine Word parish code is 4429. The completed PSAS application and processing fee of $24 should be mailed to Private School Aid Service, P.O. Box 89434, Cleveland, Ohio 44101-6434.
